At Padmaja Naturals, we celebrate the synergy of nature and wellness.
To tackle marketing and preservation challenges for perishable produce, we developed a fruit jelly bar with the name ‘FROOPS’ a distinctive, three-layered jelly bar featuring delectable mango jelly layers with a rich chocolate-dry fruit center.
The business also offers sales of Dehydrated Lemon Pickle which is prepared from our farm Lemon which is organically grown.
Padmaja Naturals is FSSAI-licensed, showcasing a commitment to agricultural innovation and farmer empowerment through value addition. The name FROOPS reflects a playful fusion of fruit and fun, establishing a distinct brand identity.
We are into R&D to come up with more products by working on farm produce with less shelf life and trying to develop products with good shelf life by value addition.
Our Story
- I, K. Padmaja, am the proprietor of Padmaja Naturals and a certified organic farmer under the NPOP scheme. Alongside my work in organic farming, I am a commerce faculty member teaching undergraduate students.
- I have been working on my family's ancestral farmland, producing organic Guavas and Lemons.
- Being a farmer, I am more interested in exploring different possibilities that increase the shelf life of farm produce which is highly perishable, so that a farmer need not sell the produce at a very low price which is offered by middlemen.
- As a result of our R&D, to tackle marketing and preservation challenges for perishable produce, we developed a fruit jelly bar with the name 'FROOPS'—a distinctive, three-layered jelly bar featuring delectable mango jelly layers with a rich chocolate-dry fruit center and Dehydrated Lemon Pickle the shelf life of which is more than 2 years.
